About a quarter of an inch — roughly two weeks of growth. Any shorter and the wax has nothing to grip; much longer and it can be more uncomfortable than it needs to be.
We'll choose based on the area and how your skin reacts. Hard wax suits more sensitive areas; soft wax covers larger ones quickly. You don't need to decide in advance.
Every four to six weeks keeps things on the same growth cycle, which makes each appointment quicker and more comfortable. Packages are available if you'd rather book a block at once.
Say so when you book. We'll talk you through it before we start, and there's no rush — the appointment is your time. Plenty of our male clients came in for a back wax once and now book regularly.
